Natural Circle

As the days get colder we start getting slow and unmotivated. And as the winter enters the circle of the year we lose more motivation. It is the natural way of survival of the body and all the living and breathing creatures and plants on the earth fall into this circle. Only humans do their best to break and destroy the eternal way of nature. We force ourselves to be flexible, active and ignore the voice of our nature.

This motion deactivates us more and more and we start feeling powerless in the  middle of wintertime.

What would be better instead? The better way would be to slow down or even to stop for a moment, to think, to breathe, to allow ourselves to be lazy, do nothing and let the body and soul rest. But it is extremely difficult for most of us because we strive for more, for better. We strive for more praise and recognition and so we forget that we are the most important ones in our own lives.

All this leads to problems. We gain or lose weight, we get sick, we become sleepless and depressed. We start complaining and we start being jealous.

Judging from my own experience, people who live in big cities are more often affected. For many of them alcohol becomes the best way to comfort themselves. They ignore friends and almost do not leave their warm places. Many of them become night bats and spend the time in front of computer games others spend their precious free time in shops continuously buying useless things.

Modern people can’t be compared with the ones who lived  a hundred years ago. We are extremely egoistic, we forget our friends and for calling a friend we send an extra message to make an appointment for a call. It is horrible. Why should it happen that I can not call my friends directly? What the hack do I need a date, an appointment for a phone call with a friend?

We experience mobbing at school and at work, we get fears that hinder us to live our simple lives, we carry more than one calendar to make sure the time is planned perfectly.

And we get sick! And we get insane! And we get depressed!

Who’s going to stop us?

Actually nobody until we reach the bottom of the well and start sinking in the drain that we left ourselves.

So, before falling into this situation, let’s stop for a moment and think about what we have done, what  we are doing and what is going to be with us if we keep on breaking our natural circle.
