Originally from Turkey, with kurdish roots, living in Germany… Ali is a friendly, talented guy who talks through the language of music.
“Creating music is suffering, you need to search and search, and that is the pain. It gives me the feeling of being on drugs, a magical feeling but it has its price – the pain”
With his music Ali is bringing the emotions and feelings out of his soul and the melodies and style takes the audience to his roots, to the old town of Kars.
He left his hometown Kars years ago and moved to Istanbul where he discovered different genres of music and learnt to play the guitar.
But Ali was a traveller and could not stay in one place. He needed adventures, experience and some fresh kick of music. He moved to Germany, where he founded his band A Zero Artefact . Ali has discovered his own sound and style. It has oriental touch and is mixed with stoner rock elements, which is very popular among rock music lovers
The band is like his family, where he lives and creates. It’s this own exhibition room for the music.
“I used to copy other musicians but then I realised that I need to be myself and now I have got the courage to play my own music”
Ali believes that humans can be angels if they are good but they can not be masters at the same time. Religion or political views should not make them hate each other.
