People’s behaviour

Due to the new  virus a  lot of  stress and trouble came to people’s lives. Most of the countries had the lockdown and people started to get “crazy”.  People started to complain,  to ignore and act against the set  rules and in some countries it caused more trouble that could be expected.

In general we dislike new rules, because adopting something new, means getting used to another thing, forgetting the comfortable old situation and lifestyle and learning new standards which are not always pleasant or easy.

With the new rules of keeping distance and not having big celebrations governments made many citizens take the side if believing in some conspiracy theories.

Conspiration theory 1: there is no virus or Corona is the same flu.

Conspiration theory 2: the governments and some powerful people want to manipulate humanity.

Conspiration theory 3: Bill Gates has planned  all this chaos.

Conspiration theory 4: Vaccine will make you sick or the “Mighty ones” want to inject chips into our bodies and make us “Zombies”.

My own theory is that we have already all those things mentioned above.

Our food makes us sick, we are already chipped due to our mobile phones and globalization and there are a lot of different kinds of senseless medication which makes us heal one illness but brings us another side illnesses.

The only way to get rid of this situation and start having fun again, is to respect the social distance.

With this question I decided to make my own research and compare this so called  “social distancing”. And for that I decided to travel. I  spent some days in Poland, in Hungary, I  was in Czeck Republic , Denmark and Sweden and experienced the behaviour of Germans too. And here comes the bitter truth.

In Poland the social distancing was performed by wearing the mask but not in a proper way and at the cafes the people were sitting very close to each other. The majority of waiters did not wear masks and they did not even think of keeping even one meter  of distance.

In Czeck Republic the relaxed behaviour of people shocked me.  I did not see any distance at all.

In Hungary the people mostly ignored the rules set by the government. There were even cases when  some citizens approached us at a cafe and tried to shake hands or sit directly next to us. And in the shops most of the people were wearing the masks on their chin.

The distancing in Denmark was better than in the countries mentioned above and the hygiene was done in a proper way. Thumbs up.

In Sweden the chairs at cafes, both indoors and outdoors, were far away from each other, the waiters and service people kept distance. I was traveling by train and nobody sat next to me. And when I asked for some help about the train schedule, they were friendly but the distance was respected.

Now I am experiencing people’s behavior in Germany. It is very “colorful”. In public transport most of the citizens do wear masks, but keeping distance is still a question. Some people do not even respect the simple rule of “not to breathe directly on your ear”. With a virus or without, it is just unpleasant to have a stranger on a train or in a supermarket standing very close to you without accepting the importance of respecting the private sphere of their  neighbour.
